I am now currently reading a book called “Sleepaway girls”
by Jen calonita, I chose this book
because one of my friend recommended it to me, and when I read the blurb I
instantly want to know the rest of the story.
This story is about a girl named Sam Montgomery who signed up
to be a counselor in training(CIT) at Whisper pines camp, and in camp she faces
a lot of new things like, being the enemy of the alpha queen of Whispering
Pines, or having a raging crush on a blond flirtatious senior counselor, and being
stuck with another CIT who’s always teasing her but so comfortable to hang out
with and last becoming friends with 4 other girls who call themselves the
Sleepaway Girls.
At the moment I am now on page 23rd so there’s
nothing to tell because im still in the beginning, but so far the story has
been really fun and exciting, I’ve reached the part when Sam just came to
Whispering Pines.
Personally I think that I can’t judge or say anything about
the book yet because I’m still behind, I haven’t even past half of the book
yet. But I will say that this book is really addicting, it makes me want to
read more and more.
I like your first post! Where are you up to in the book now? Even from the beginning you can tell us what you like about the book ... why is it 'fun and exciting'? Do you like Sam? Why/why not?
ReplyDeleteThanks! Actually I am now up to chapter 16. I called the book "fun" and "exciting" because those were the words that I can think of at that moment to express my feeling about the book. Yes I really like Sam, I think that she's a very nice person and in my perspective she always makes the right choices, that's why I like her.
